Addressing the 20th municipal council of Birgunj Sub-Metropolis on Friday, DPM Thapa argued that Nepal has better constitution than that of India and EU, so they don’t deserve to criticise Nepal’s constitution.Adding that it is a matter of internal affair of Nepal, Thapa further said that Nepal’s Constitution ensures 33 percent women’s reservation in every state mechanism unlike that of India and European Union countries. On a different note, DPM Thapa, who is also the Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, added that the issues raised by the Madhesi parties is a political issue and so the government will address it in a political way.
